Dear Friend,

Hello!!

Welcome to this hidden pearl of information about animation. If you're reached this far, surely you are intersted in a career in animation.

Friend, you are an enthusiast who believes in ones potential and wants to make a shining career. The only question that is troubling you is which career option is most suitable for you in terms of job satisfaction, monetary satisfaction, job security and future prospects.

Among so many existing and upcoming job options, I would like to unfold a career option in one of the fastest growing Industry – Animation.

To let you have an idea of the brilliant prospects and extraordinary scope in the animation industry, I would like to share few facts with you.
“The trade group NASSCOM in 2005 had pegged the country’s animation and digital-media industry at $ 60 million and had said that it was expected to grow to $11 billion by 2009. More and more American, Canadian and European companies are beginning to outsource their work to Indian animation companies. Globally, all eyes have turned towards India for animation. The simple reason is that, in India they get high quality work done at an amazingly low cost, as compared to other countries.”

A full-length animation film executed in USA would incur an expenditure of over $250 million. The same can be completed in India for a mere $50 million. Can you believe it?

To meet both the domestic and export demand, numerous Indian companies have set up studios in several cities including Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai and 2D and 3D animation market. There is a HUGE demand supply gap.

In order to keep pace with the growing and constantly evolving needs of the industry, these animation companies are increasingly HUNTING for animators with the knowledge of every aspect of animation, including both 2D and 3D animation. If you have the skills of 2D animator or 3D animator these big paymasters are looking andhunting for YOU!!

DAE is a very high end course by Arena Animation Academy, first time in India, crafted by Industry Honchos to prepare International Standard 2D and 3D animators. Since such high level courses require personal mentoring, only 20 seats are available! Admission is based on a creative aptitude test. You have to hurry, the last date is approaching fast and there'd only be 2 batches this year - now you know why they're going to get grabbed by the industry. Though I’ve sent this special letter and is seen by only 10-12 people every day, it still counts to about a thousand in a year, so 10 seats is a very small number. Chances are, other readers of this letter would already have registered by the time you finish up this mail.

Well, if you think you have time, than let me take you on to give you all the answers. Let me first guide you which course to choose and which course is right for animation.

In terms of training, very few aspirants actually get the “right” training. They go to a crash course program, put together a rather weak demo reel, and then hit the streets looking for a job. They know nothing of the art of animation, nothing about lighting, nothing about story telling. They just “think” they know the software.

If you go to a top quality and reputable institute, your chances of getting a break in a big studio increase many-fold. The recruiters know what is taught at these organizations and can assume that you are versed in a lot of things that most other candidates are not. That’s the difference between a good education and an adequate one.

Demo reels should be an absolute essential of your course. Some places provide no means for putting student’s work to tape! These places should be avoided, as digital to video transfer can cost a fortune! Also understand that a good demo reel takes more than a couple days to put together. Good work takes time.
